Camp Ta-Kum-Ta is a year round facility for children ages 7 to 17 who have, or have had cancer. Camp Ta-Kum-Ta is independent 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Our programs and services are financed completely through private donations and fund raising. With an all-volunteer staff, Ta-Kum-Ta accepts all of its children tuition-free.

    Shawn Fleury Raises Money for TKT at Thunder Road

     

    Hallstrom Motorsports, a late model racing team which fields the #1 Toyota Camry with driver Shawn Fleury are planning a season long charity fundraising campaign to support Camp Ta-Kum-Ta.

    The Kids Are #1 Fund is a fund set up by Hallstrom Motorsports to raise money for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, a year-round camp for children who have or have had cancer here in Vermont and up-state New York.

    “Our goal is to raise $5,000 for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta.  We are privileged to do what we do weekly at Thunder Road International Speedway, Barre, Vermont, and we want to share that experience with the Ta-Kum-Ta kids,” said Lisa Hallstrom. 

    The team is holding a raffle now to benefit Camp Ta-Kum-Ta.  The raffle is being drawn Sunday, August 17, 2014.  The prizes are a Ruger American 30-06 Rifle with Redfield 3-9 scope, two tickets to the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway September 21, 2014, two Boston Red Sox tickets, a Keurig Machine, two tickets to the Jay Peak water park, a gift pack from the Morse Farm Sugarhouse, a gallon of maple syrup and $250 cash.

    REGISTRATION FORM 

    Tournament registration will start at 9:00 a.m. on October 5th, with our shotgun start at 11:00 a.m. Dinner will be served approximately ½ hour after the last team has turned in their score to the Pro Shop.

     

    PLAYER REGISTRATION

    Please list all golfers registering as part of your team.

    Team handicap must total 55 or more.

    If fewer than four, we will match you up with other players to make a foursome.

    Proper golf attire required.
