Camp Ta-Kum-Ta is Vermont’s year-round camp for kids affected by cancer. It is a safe, loving place where children from Vermont and New York who have, or have had cancer can play, swim, share, and heal.

UPDATE:

Camp Ta-Kum-Ta had a BIG year of building in 2011. 

We built five new cabins, put in a high ropes course which has a total of six elements including a zip line and we also built an activities building which holds a 200-seat theater and a teen center.

We have an exciting year ahead of us, where we will continue to build our facility.  Our future plans include the following:

§ Waste Water facilities for the property

§ Build one more cabin for the campers

§ A splash pad and pool

§ Athletic fields and courts

§ A memorial chapel and garden

§ New water sources

§ And increase the capacity of existing electrical systems
