More kudos for the folks at DragonHeart Vermont! They staged a grand spectacle along the Burlington City Waterfront for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta:
T-K-T was in the news again with our own Ted Kessler and a fine story from the good folks at WPTZ News-Channel 5:

Campers received a couple of wonderful gifts on Wednesday, May 27th. The first was a wonderful story about camp on WCAX-TV3.
And the second was a check from our friends at the South Burlington Knights of Columbus; the proceeds of their annual Super-Bingo event at the Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center. And this was not just any check, but a donation of $45,000 to be used in the construction of a cabin at the new camp. In addition, the Knights will round up the labor for the construction project, enabling the camp to build TWO cabins for the cost of one! As seen in the video, the check was presented by long-time Camp Ta-Kum-Ta friend Don Sutton.
The Knights had been responsible for many improvements at the old TKT location at Camp Holy Cross in Colchester, including the building of the chapel, bath house and cabins. This was the last year that Don & Rose Sutton would run the Super-Bingo event, choosing to turn it over this year to the younger, equally-capable hands of Steve Shrover of The Engraving Bench, while keeping Leonard and Mary Robear on the prowl for raffle prizes.
