Camp Ta-Kum-Ta’s Summer Program

 

Our signature programs is our week-long summer program, where kids partake in traditional camp activities such as swimming, athletics, ropes course, and arts & crafts, Ta-Kum-Ta offers once-in-a-lifetime opportunities such as rock climbing expeditions, hot-air balloon rides, formal dances, and lake cruises.

Children ages 7-17 who have or have had cancer and either lives in the State of Vermont or are treated in Vermont.

One week (Sunday- Saturday)
 

Camp Ta-Kum-Ta’s  Halloween Party

 
Our Halloween party is filled with all the fun and friendships of our other year-round programs, but this event opens Camp Ta-Kum-Ta up to not only the campers but also to their families. This event is a day-long event where campers and their families will have the opportunity to eat festive food, participate in fun activities, carve pumpkins and much more!

Camp Ta-Kum-Ta’s Winter Weekends

 
Our Winter camps are filled with all the fun and friendships of our summer residential program, but are only a weekend long and campers will have the opportunity to try great outdoor activities if they choose. Some of the activities will be: snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice skating and sleigh rides. At winter camp the campers will have a choice of an indoor and outdoor activity each hour.

January 6-8, 2012 (Oldest Campers)
January 13-15, 2012 (Middle Campers)
February 3-5, 2012 (Youngest Campers)

    Middlebury Rotary Club's Online Auction

    Starting on March 9, 2012, Middlebury Rotary Club will be auctioning off a number of fun and unique items to bid on to raise money for their organization as well as these specific organizations Special Olympics, Make -A- Wish, Shelter Box, and Camp Ta-kum-ta - and the more items they have the more money they can raise, so we're asking for your help.
