Camp Ta-Kum-Ta is pleased to announce Rob Schuller as our new Summer Week Director

Camp Ta-Kum-Ta is pleased to announce Rob Schuller as our new Summer Week Director.

Rob Schuller has been a volunteer at Camp Ta-Kum-Ta for 17 years.  Rob’s first summer assignment was Program Facilitator followed by Athletics for a few years before gravitating to a Cabin Counselor, where he has served in both middle and oldest boys’ cabins.  Rob might be best known for his role, as the Judge at camp!

As the Summer Week Director, Rob will oversee all aspects of our traditional, Summer program.

Professionally, Rob works as the Director of Business Development at Startup Institute in Boston and New York.  Also for the past 20 years Rob has been the marketing voice of the New England Patriots and has been one of the game day stadium PA announcers for the past two seasons.

Please join Camp Ta-Kum-Ta in welcoming Rob to his new role within our organization!  Together, with hundreds of volunteers and the continued support of the community, he will continue to ensure Camp Ta-Kum-Ta provides challenging, extraordinary experiences in a safe and loving environment for children who have or have had cancer and their families.

Why I run for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta on May 28th

On May 28th, join me, Executive Director of Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, as I run for Camp TKT!

The Vermont City Marathon’s Miles for a Mission Program helps send kids with cancer to Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, where they can just be kids.

I am running in a 2-person relay to help bring the magic of TKT to kids affected by childhood cancer. TOGETHER we can ensure that every eligible child has a place where he or she can explore, try new things, and simply be a kid!

Running for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta may be a challenge for many, I know it is for me.  However, but it is challenge unlike anything our campers and their families have gone through.  If I can do my part in giving these kids a place where they can come, a loving camp family who truly understands what they have gone through or are going through, and a place where they can check their cancer at our gates and just be a kid again, I WILL DO IT!

Help me share the Magic of TKT with every child who is affected by childhood cancer on May 28th by:

1. Signing-up to run the full marathon, in a 2-person relay, or in a 3-5 person relay!  To sign-up contact Lindsay Longe at Lindsay@takumta.org or 802-372-5863

2. Can’t make it to the run? That’s ok! You can donate to a team already running. Donate today:http://CampTKT.kintera.org/Miles4aMission2017

On behalf of our campers and their families, I hope you will join me on May 28th!

Kind Regards,
Hattie
