A Legacy of TKT

Your generosity will have a profound impact on the lives of children who have or have had cancer and their families in Vermont.

Planned giving is another way you can continue to provide a safe, loving place where children who have or have had cancer can come together, share their stories and simply laugh.  In short, Camp T-K-T is where kids go to reclaim a childhood robbed by cancer.  By remembering Camp Ta-Kum-Ta in your will, you will provide the resources necessary to provide a place and unforgettable experiences for these special children and their families now and in the future.

Planned gifts should be carefully considered in relation to your comprehensive financial and estate plans.  We recommend that you consult your attorney or financial planner when considering a bequest or one of the other planned giving options below:

Gift of Retirement Assets
Gift of Life Insurance
Charitable Remainder Trust
Charitable Lead Trust
Charitable Gift Annuity

Bequest Legacies

Joining Legacy of Camp Ta-Kum-Ta Society is simple.  If you have included Camp Ta-Kum-Ta in your will or have otherwise included it in your estate plans- through a charitable trust, life insurance policy, retirement plan, charitable gift annuity, or other asset- you are automatically eligible to become a member.  If you have not done so already, please let us know about your planed gift to Camp Ta-Kum-Ta so that we can document and thank you for your intent.

If you are considering naming Camp Ta-Kum-Ta in your will, please use this sample bequest language:

“I give the sum of $____ (or % of estate) to Vermont’s Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, 77 Sunset View Road, PO Box 459, South Hero, VT 05486, to be used or disposed of as its Board of Directors deems appropriate in its sole discretion.”
